A mid 19th Century Swiss cylinder in a decorative gold and enamel case. Keywind gilt Lepine calibre movement with suspended going barrel. Plain cock with blue steel regulator. Plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder, steel escape wheel. Silver engine turned dial with Roman numerals, gilt Breguet hands. Attractive enamel and 18 carat gold open face case with scalloped edge. The fully restored polychrome scene of a black and gilt arch through which can viewed a lake and mountains in the background. Wound and set through the signed gold cuvette. SignedD F Aubert a Geneve Circa 1860
