A mid 19th Century English verge in silver pair cases. Full plate fusee movement with round pillars. Pierced and engraved round cock, steel regulator on top plate below the plain three arm steel balance. white enamel dial with Roman numerals, gold hands. Matching silver pair cases, silver pendant and bow. The inside of the inner case engraved for the owner "Benjamin Dove - Martham - 1871", maker's mark "PW". Signed: G. Braddock Martham.
