A small late 19th Century English lever in a gold half hunter case. Gilt three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Engraved cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. English table roller lever escapement. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, blue steel half hunter hands. Small plain 18 carat open face case half hunter case with blue enamel chapter ring, maker's mark "JW" in an oval and number corresponding to that on the movement. Signed: Jas Ritchie & Son Edinburgh, Hallmarked London 1892.
