FRANC VILA FVa n° Cuatro Tourbillon Chronograph SuperLigero Concept

FRANC VILA FVa n° Cuatro Tourbillon Chronograph SuperLigero Concept
Sapphire crystal

A year after the appearance of its famous FVa N° 6 SuperLigero Concept, Franc Vila now introduces a flying chronograph tourbillon based on nanotechnology. The new movement, like last year’s, is made of lightnium, but the design of the bridges has been inspired by the molecular structure of graphene, a recently discovered material. While its density is very low, with a thickness equivalent to an atom, it is 10 to 100 times more resistant than steel and much harder than diamond. By translating the hexagonal nano-structure of graphene into the language of haute horlogerie, Franc Vila has met a longstanding challenge: to create an infinitely light, ultra-resistant movement. Limited edition of 8.
