Wilhelm Boillat wurde am 19. Mai 1907 in Le Breuleux geboren als Sohn von Charles "Paul" Ulric Boillat (1879-1963) und Hermina Froidevaux (1880-1952). Wilhelm war der Bruder von [[Boillat, Fluvius|Fluvius Boillat] (1907-1967). Vater "Paul" war der Besitzer der Uhrenfabrik Paul Boillat-Froidevaux in Le Breuleux. Wilhelm gründete möglich in Le Noirmont ene eigene Fabrik mit der. Marke EVUS. Wilhelm Boillat heiratete Antoinette Clémence (1906-1995) und aus dieser Ehe wurden 2 Kinder geboren, Raphaël Wilhelm Boillat und Edgar Boillat.

Wilhelm Boillat starb am 29. August 1967, 60 Jahre alt.
