A haven of high quality watchmaking, the Vallée de Joux is situated in a picturesque region where Romain Gauthier's passion for top quality watchmaking was developed. A passion that carried Romain Gauthier through six years of work, from calculations to research and development, not forgetting the manufacturing of parts for his first self-made Calibre 2206Hm.
It was in 2005 that Romain Gauthier finally launched his own brand that in just a few years became a full-fledged Manufacture, specialised in the production of collectors’ watches , offering an exceptional level of quality. All the stages of watch production are carried out within the Manufacture: from the design of the movements to the production of parts, as well as finishing, assembly and testing of watches.
Each watch is assembled and decorated by hand in keeping with the purest watchmaking traditions. The first “Prestige Collection” is aimed at collectors and lovers of the art of watchmaking who wish to own a top quality timepiece.

During the Baselworld fair 2010, our Manufacture will host a global premiere for the unveiling of our two latest designs:
- Our new Manufacture time piece
- Our new Mechanical Cufflinks! (world premiere).
Each cufflink allies the purity of gold to the high performance of titanium and contains more than 45 micro-components (micro-springs, micro-joints...). Each cufflink is equipped with an exclusive pushbutton system allowing the user to easily control the locking and unlocking of the cufflinks. A unique security system ensures that the cufflink doesn’t accidentally become detached from the sleeve.
Inspired by watchmaking, this technical and innovative accessory is aimed at lovers of beautiful and subtle mechanics who wish to add a top-quality accessory to a sophisticated appearance.
