Movement: Gilt verge movement, with engraved and pierced balance cock. Large diamond endstone. Signed “Willats, LONDON” and numbered (12790). Good condition and running well. Dial : 34.5 mm. White enamel dial, in good condition but with a light hairline running across the centre from 12 to 6 and another running across the edge at 4. Nice blued steel beetle and poker hands. Inner case: 40.25 mm, 22ct gold, hallmarked for London, 1752. Maker’s mark RP. The hinge is fine and the case snaps shut. Good condition throughout. Good high dome crystal with no damage. Outer Case: 47 mm, 22ct gold. Nice heavy case with hallmarks rubbed but the same maker as the inner (RP). The hinge, catch and button are fine and the case snaps shut nicely. Very little wear with no holes or repairs.
