Peter Prestiot auch bekannt als Peter Lewis Prestiot war französischer Herkunft und sein richtiger Name war Pierre Louis Prestiot wie auch von seine Vater. Er wurde um 1740 geboren und heiratete Anne Mary Mince (1757-1831) am 23. Juni 1776 inSt. Anne, Soho. Aus der Ehe gingen fünf Kinder hervor, Francis Prestiot, Valentine Prestiot, Frederick Prestiot, Sarah Elizabeth Prestiot und Mary Cecilia Prestiot.
