An early 18th Century English calendar verge with champleve dial in purpose made silver pair cases. Deep full plate fire gilt movement with Egyptian pillars. Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates. Pierced and engraved winged cock with mask, broad pierced and engraved foot. Plain steel balance, silver regulator disc. Signed silver champleve dial, circular aperture below the centre to reveal the gilt date marking. Roman and Arabic numerals, Brass hands. Matching purpose made silver pair cases matching English Hallmarks from 1736,
