Charles Frederick Huguenin, wurde geboren im Jahre 1798 — this Swiss-born watchmaker worked in Philadelphia between 1797 and 1802 as a watchmaker. In 1798, he traveled to North Carolina (Halifax - May 1798; Wilmington - October; Fayetteville - November) selling his watches and repairing existing watches and clocks.
