Bermont

Brand name

BERMONT was established as a watch brand during the 1960s, by the Italian company Bernath Stefano - Geneve 1950. A wide range of dress, sports and diving watches were produced by selected Swiss watchmakers under the Bermont brand. The watches were mainly produced for import to the Italian market. Production of Bermont watches ceased during the early 1980s. Bermont is an abbreviation of the name Monique Bernath (BERnath, MONique), who was the daughter and later business partner of Stefano Bernath (founder and owner of Bermont).
