A late 19th Century German lever in a gold engine turned half hunter case. Keyless damascened nickle bar movement, going barrel, frosted steel wolfs teeth winding work. Plain cock with polished steel regulator. Compensation balance with overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. White enamel dial, offset subsidiary seconds at nine o'clock, Roman numerals, blue steel half hunter hands. Unusual engine turned 18 carat half hunter case, the blue enamel chapter ring on a matted ground within a scalloped border. Back cover with an elaborate monogram formed by stopping the engine turning to leave it plain , signed gold cuvette detailing features of the watch.
