Duchaussoy à St. Iame. - Charles Duchaussoy à Saint-Jacques d'Aliermont

Horloge murale (originale de parquet ?) équipé d'un mouvement Saint-Nicolas avec un petit balancier muni d'une lentille à petit diamètre, qui passe derrière les cordes. Le cadran en laiton porte l'inscription "Duchaussoy à St Iame" ou Saint-Jacques d'Aliermont, sur une plaque de laiton, à 6 heures. Charles Duchaussoy s'établit à Saint-Jacques vers 1720. Il eut trois filles mais aucun apprenti, le patronyme s'est donc éteint et le village ne devient pas un centre horloger. Le mécanisme daterait du milieu du 18e siècle. Il est à échappement à palettes et roue de rencontre. Les piliers façonnés. Les aiguilles fraisées sont exceptionnelles ; l'aiguille des heures représente une fleur de lys. Le cadran porte des chiffres romains pour les heures et arabes pour les minutes (de 5 à 55). Quatre poinçons séparent chaque chiffres romains. Les décors et sculptures sont simples et représentent des fleurs et des volutes. La forme du fronton fait penser à un "chapeau de gendarme"
