A 19th Century American lever in a gold full hunter case. Damascened nickelled three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel micrometer regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement, screwed in jewelling, Signed white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman and Arabic numerals, blue steel hands. Plain 14 carat full hunter case with ribbed middle, maker's mark "E. H. & Co." in a rectangle. Plain gold cuvette and glazed cover to the movement.
