A large early 19th Century Irish verge in silvered metal pair cases. Full plate fusee movement with gilt dust cover pierce to reveal the table of the cock which is engraved with a serpent. Gilt regulator on top plate below the plain three arm steel balance. Off white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel seconds hand, gilt hands. Silvered nickle pair cases, oval pendant and bow. Signed: J Richardson Dublin.
