A mid 18th Century English verge in agate and gold pair cases and key. Full plate fire gilt movement with square baluster pillars. Pierced and engraved masked cock, pierced and engraved foot and plate for the silver regulator disc. Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, gold hands. Gold pair cases, plain inner with gold pendant and bow, maker's mark "I.M" in a rectangle. Gold repousse outer case, pierced for panels of moss agate in the back and bezel. Large gold key, chased and engraved frame set with a large rectangular agate.
