An early 19th Century English verge with unusual polychrome and gilt enamel dial in silver pair cases. Full plate fire gilt movement with round pillars. Pierced and engraved cock, silver regulator disc. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Unusual convex white enamel dial, the centre with two polychrome enamel scenes set within a gilt decorated frame. Arabic numerals, gold hands. Matching silver pair cases, silver pendant and bow, maker's mark "B.W". Signed: Bennett London, Hallmarked London 1807.
