A late 18th Century English verge in silver pair cases. Full plate fire gilt movement with round pillars. Pierced and engraved cock, silver regulator disc. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, blue steel beetle and poker hands. Matching silver pair cases, the inner engraved "J Bury", silver pendant and bow, maker's mark "I.T" Signed: Chas Clayton London. Hallmarked London 1791
