A mid 19th Century English farmer's verge with polychrome enamel dial in silver pair cases. Full plate fusee movement with round pillars. Pierced and engraved round cock, steel regulator on top plate below the plain three arm steel balance. White enamel dial with central polychrome enamel scene depicting a scene of a farmer ploughing a field with three horses, a windmill and church in the background. Roman numerals, gilt hands. Matching plain silver pair cases, silver pendant and bow, maker's mark "PW" and number corresponding to that on the movement. Nr. 41458
