A 20th Century English lever by Dent in a gold half hunter case. Gilt three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. English table roller lever escapement, escape and lever pivots with endstones. Signed white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel half hunter hands. Plain 18 carat half hunter case with blue enamel chapter ring, gold cuvette, maker's mark "R&S" in a diamond. Signed Dent 61 Strand & 4 Royal Exchange, London - Watchmaker to the King, Hallmarked Birmingham 1931, Diameter 49 mm.
