Fres. Esquivillon & DeChoudens No. 52014 Gehäuse mit kette.

A late 18th Century Swiss verge in a three colour gold case with a gilt metal chatelaine. Full plate gilt fusee movement. Finely pierced and engraved bridge cock with steel coqueret, plain three arm gilt balance. Signed white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, gilt hands. Engraved 18 carat gold consular case with applied three colour gold decoration, paste set front bezel. Gilt metal chatelaine, cast buckle depicting a lion and four further cast links with portraits and cherubs. Two shorter side chains with hinged latches. Signed_Fres Esquivillon & DeChoudens , Circa 1790, Diameter 43 mm - Depth 9 mm.
