An early 19th Century English verge in a decorative engine turned gilt case. Full plate fusee movement with round pillars. Engraved cock, steel regulator on top plate below the plain three arm steel balance. Engine turned gilt dial with applied gold Roman numerals, gold hands. Engine turned open face case with ribbed middle, maker's mark "J.R" Signed: Geo Dobson Leeds.
