An early 19th Century English fusee cylinder in a decorative gem set three colour gold case. Full plate gilt keywind fusee movement. Engraved cock with diamond endstone, polished steel Bosley regulator. Plain three arm gold balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder, steel escape wheel, pivots with endstones. Engine turned gold dial, gold Roman numerals applied to a matted ground which is set with turquoises, gold hands. Fine decorative 18 carat open face case, the bezels set with 12 turquoises and applied gold decoration. The matted gold back of the case decorated with applied three colour gold, small turquoises, red and green gems, number corresponding to that on the movement. Signed Grayhurst Harvey & Co 8009, Circa 1825, Diameter 41 mm.
