James_Murray, Royal Exchange, London - Black & Murray London & Calcutta 6636 circa 1865. A 19th Century English fusee lever with power reserve indication in a silver half hunter case. Gilt half plate keywind movement with fusee and chain. Harrison's maintaining power. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, diamond endstone. compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. English table roller lever escapement Signed and numbered white enamel dial with subsidiaries for seconds and power reserve, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Plain silver half hunter case with engraved chapter ring of Roman numerals. Gold hinges and thumb piece, the inner dome inscribed "Black & Murray - London & Calcutta 6636". Maker's mark "DL" in a rectangle and number corresponding to that on the movement.
