A mid 18th Century Swiss verge in paste set gold and enamel pair cases. Small full plate fire gilt movement with pentagonal baluster pillars. Pierced and engraved masked cock with garnet endstone, pierced and engraved foot and plate for the silver regulator disc. Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates. Plain three arm gilt balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Signed white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, decorative paste set hands. Plain gold inner case, long gold pendant and bow. Two colour gold outer case, the back with an oval polychrome enamel portrait of a lady within a dark blue enamel border overlaid with a setting of clear paste stones.
