An 18th Century Swiss verge in stone set gold and enamel pair cases. Full plate fire gilt movement with pentagonal baluster pillars. Pierced and engraved cock, pierced and engraved foot and plate for the silver regulator disc. Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Signed white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, decorative stone set hands. Gold and enamel pair cases, plain gold inner case with gold pendant and bow. Engraved gold outer case, the back decorated with a fully restored polychrome oval portrait of a young woman within a dark blue enamel border overlaid with a pierced mask set with stones. Engraved front bezel set with a border of stones.
