A mid 20th Century Swiss wristwatch with moonphase calendar in a gilt case. Nickelled split three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, uncut bimetallic balance with spiral hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Silvered dial with applied gilt Arabic numerals and batons, subsidiary seconds, gold hands. Rectangular apertures for day of the week and month in English either side of the centre and a semi-circular aperture at twelve for the moonphase. The day of the month indicated at the edge of the dial by a sweep calendar hand with red tip. Gilt case with signed stainless steel back, black calf strap.
