An early 18th Century English verge with gold champleve dial in gold pair cases. Deep full plate fire gilt movement with Egyptian pillars. Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates. Pierced and engraved winged cock with pierced and engraved foot. Plain steel balance, silver regulator disc. Fine signed gold champleve dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, fine blue steel beetle and poker hands. Plain 22 carat gold inner case, maker's mark "IW". Later 18 carat pendant and outer case hallmarked London 1804.
