Englischer Uhrmacher

John Jardin (Jardine) wurde 1765 in Glasgow geboren doch siedelte um nach London wo er um 1780 arbeitete in 1781 von der Clockmakers Company freigeschprochen. John Jardine wurde an vier verschiedenen Adressen (alle sehr nahe zusammen), zwischen 1777 und 1801 aufgeführt. Ab 1777 in Bartholomew Lane, 1783 im Albion Buildings , von etwa 1790 bis 1796 Princess Street 8, Lothbury und nachher in Throgmorton Street 7. Er verstarb laut der Edinburg Magazine am 8. November 1801. Er war dan in Throgmortonstreet ansässig.

Im "Edinburgh Evening Courant" von 23. November 1801 war zu lesen:
