This house, established in 1813, is specialized in the high précision clockmaking shopunder the Empire and the Restoration periode. We owe Raingo some astronomical clock models, for which he deposits a certain number of patents. By 1830 Raingo settles down 8 rue deTouraine. Afterward the four Raingo brothers first known as clockmakers added bronzes of art and furnishing to their catalog in 1841. In 1860, this house supplied bronzes to the Emperor and the Empress and possesses a large number of collector's items. First specialized in the reproduction of classic arts, they edited then contemporary artists, grinding a small number of models. The most reknown are Pradier, Carrier-Belleuse and Auguste Moreau. They will also collaborate with prestigious cabinet makers in particular François Linke.

They (La Maison Raingo Frères) participated at Universal Exhibitions in 1867, 1878 and 1889 and obtained each time medals. : a gold one in 1889. At this time they were located in 202 rue Veille du Temple Paris.
