Auguste Armand Croutte wurde am Mittwoch 23. September 1835 Saint-Nicolas d'Aliermont geboren. Er war der Sohn von Uhrmacher Armand Virgil Croutte und Justine-Scélestine Dumouchel. Auguste Armand war ein Bruder von Armante Agathe Croutte.

Auguste Armand heiratete Françoise-Delphine Gaillon am Mittwoch 30. Juni 1858 in Sait-Nicolas. Aus die ehe wurde der Sohn Armand-Gustave Croutte geboren welche nach einige Monate verstarb.
