Robert Allam arbeitete als Uhrmacher in der Zeit zwischen 1731 bis - 1765 in London. Er wurde in 7 Jahre zum Uhrmacher ausgebildet von Thomas Smith und war mitglied der Clockmakers Company from 1742-1765. Sein gescháft war in Bond Street London. Von Robert Allam sind schöne elegante Tisch- und Standuhren bekannt.Möglich war es diese Mr. Allam welche in 1795 verstarb 86 Jahre alt. "South Molton Street, aged 86, late and eminent watchmaker, but had retired from many years".
