A 19th Century English fusee duplex in a silver open face case. Full plate gilt keywind fusee movement with signed and numbered gilt dust cover. Harrison's maintaining power. Engraved cock with diamond endstone, compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. English duplex escapement, brass escape wheel, pivots with endstones. Fully restored white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Plain silver open face case, maker's mark "WW" in a rectangle. Hallmarked London 1831. Signed:S. Nickisson Ashby Street London 10354.
