Dial: The simple ormolu annular dials have white porcelain plaques with both blue Roman numerals and Arabic five-minute marks.

Movement: The eight-day time and strike movement is wound and adjusted off the top plate, has a Paul Garnier Chaff Cutter escapement and is signed and numbered, 'Paul Garnier/2591'.

Notes: The originality, condition, quality of the case and use of his patented escapement make this a very fine example of Garnier's work. Sundial Farm Antique Clocks Ltd.
