''Auctioneers Dr. H. Crott'', the internationally renowned auction house for fine watches is happy to present some of the highlights of their upcoming spring auction in Frankfurt!

We were once more able to acquire a large number of exceptional pieces for this auction; collectors and enthusiasts will be particularly excited to see the fine selection of Patek Philippe wristwatches we will be presenting - exquisite examples of references 1463 (est. limit EUR 190.000 - 220.000), 1436 (est. limit EUR 180.000 - 220.000), 1593 (est. limit EUR 38.000 - 50.000), 564 (est. limit EUR 22.000 - 28.000) and 3974 a gent’s very rare astronomical minute repeating Geneva wristwatch with perpetual calendar, leap year indication, moon phase (est. limit EUR 200.000 - 300.000) will enthral the connoisseurs.

Other highlights will be for example the "Datograph Perpetual, Vacheron & Constantin Malte Tourbillon" (est. limit EUR 40.000 - 50.000) and the Rolex reference 8171 (est. limit EUR 43.000 - 49.000); and as always the fans of A. Lange & Soehne watches will also find some unique treasures to add to their collections.

The event will present an outstanding selection of rare and complicated pocket watches and many other important watches of the highest quality; there are for example two important Renaissance figure clocks - the so-called "Stehender Löwe" (the "Standing Lion", which has been on loan to several exhibitions, amongst others to the Bavarian national museum in Munich as part of the exhibition "Die Welt als Uhr", and to the National Museum of American History and Technology (Smithsonian Institution) in Washington as part of "The Clockwork Universe" in 1980/81, (est. limit EUR 70.000-90.000), the "Lauschender Hund" (the "Listening Dog", est. limit EUR 80.000 - 100.000); then there is a unique night light projection clock with astronomical indications by Johann Georg Mayr of Munich (est. limit EUR 80.000 - 120.000).

Again we will also be able to offer some exquisite enamel boxes, which are certain to fascinate the viewer with their wonderful artistic design and high-quality craftsmanship.
