Schweizer Uhrmacher
Ulysse Nardin wurde am 22. Januar 1823 als Sohn des Uhrmachers Nardin, Léonard Frédéric geboren. Er gründete 1846 im schweizerischen Le Locle die Uhrenfabrik Ulysse Nardin.
Ulysse Nardin verstarb 1876 unerwartet, sein Sohn Paul David Nardin, 21 jahre Alt, übernahm die Leitung der Firma.
