Glas aus künstlich hergestelltem Saphir mit hoher Härte (9 nach Mohs) und Kratzfestigkeit. In diesen Eigenschaften wird es nur noch vom Diamant übertroffen.

Sapphire crysta

Glass made of artificially producedsapphire. It is very hard (9 on the Mohs scale) and scratch-resistant. It ranks just below the diamond in these two respects.
