Très rare horloge Saint-Nicolas en bois fruitier (poirier) qui lui donne cette teinte caractéristique. Le décor sculpté de très bonne qualité présente une originale draperie enroulée de part et d’autre du vase au sommet de la tête. Le cadran émaillé est marqué Jn (Jean) Allix à St Nicolas. La famille Allix compte de nombreux horlogers à Saint-Nicolas-d’Aliermont et à Dieppe dans la première moitié du XIXème siècle. Inv. 2011.16.1
