Events

In the State’s archives in Schaffhausen one can find that from January 29, 1583 applications for guilds and businesses, for fireworkers, tin and metal forgers/smiths, clock- and spring (coil) makers, who were also part of the city council. They advised in even then in Schaffhausen what the Clockmaker trade should involve and how it should be operated.
On January 29, 1920 many more Glashütter fine machinery firms joined together with the Union of Glashuetter Measurement Machinery Firms, Tachometer and Fine Machinery Works.
