On 16th January, 1923 Karl Frei obtained the major patent Nr. 97458 for a Chronometerstop or check device for Pendulum Clocks. At the 16th January, 1925 a general meeting occurred where the decision was made about die dissolution of the Edmund Herrmann AG and the continuation of similar processes.
