Deutscher Uhrmacher

Becker wurde am 2. Mai 1819 in Oels (Schlesien) geboren und absolvierte dort eine Ausbildung als Großuhrmacher, bevor er als Geselle in Frankfurt/Main, La Chaux-de-Fonds, Dresden, München, Berlin und Wien (bei Philipp Happacher) arbeitete.

Am 1. April 1847 eröffnete er zunächst in Freiburg/Schlesien (heute Świebodzice in Polen) ein Uhrengeschäft. Am 2. Mai 1850 meldete er ...
